The 'China Digital Asset Trading Platform' officially launched in Beijing

The first national level digital asset trading platform in China, the "China Digital Asset Trading Platform," was officially launched in Beijing on January 1, 2023. This platform aims to implement the national cultural digitization strategy, with technological support and innovation driven development of cultural undertakings and industries, and promote the sharing of China's cultural digitization achievements among the whole nation.

This platform will maximize market efficiency and stimulate market vitality under the supervision of various ministries and commissions.

According to relevant spokespersons, the platform attaches great importance to new technologies and scenarios such as metaverse and Web3, and is committed to exploring China's world-class digital assets and IP. Under the joint guidance of regulatory agencies, market institutions, local governments, and other forces, the platform will establish three committees for compliance supervision, digital asset innovation, and metaverse industry scenarios.

Among them, the Compliance Supervision Committee is mainly composed of government regulatory agencies and supervisory bodies; The Digital Asset Innovation Committee mainly attracts market forces such as cultural and tourism institutions, intellectual property institutions, primary platforms, and IP copyright holders; The Metaverse Scene Industry Committee mainly attracts local governments, state-owned enterprises, central banks, and relevant asset owners who have issued support policies related to the metaverse.

The platform will launch a series of featured products in the future. Institutions and units are welcome to log in to the official website www.cdex.cn to submit a "cooperation application" form. The platform will gradually introduce the "appointment registration" function and invite institutions and units to participate in joint construction and governance, promote the construction of national standards for digital asset trading, and promote the sharing of digital achievements of Chinese culture among the public.
